Silence

Yes, the blog has been silent! But, it has been far from silent at this house. Today we had to return the pets that we just purchased a little over a week ago. Unfortunately I was allergic to them. Note to self, nothing with fur should ever enter this house again. Everyone was doing fine. While standing in line waiting for the Manager to finish my return I turn around to notice Davis with his head lowered and tears streaming down his cheeks. It was heartbreaking. Off to Target for some icees and retail therapy, which appeared to help until bedtime. When I went to tuck Emma in she was pointing to the empty space on her shelf sobbing. All I could do was tell her I was so sorry and some extra snuggles.

So, now I am enjoying TOTAL SILENCE in my house, pure bliss.

I am here! More to come.....right now I am still trying to figure out what to do with our two new gerbils and two new pet rats. What was I thinking?
